A note from Navya
For twelve years I made gifts for some of the most loved companies in India. Thousands of IVEI boards, organisers and calendars left our hands. And the same feedback kept coming back: we love it — but it isn't a complete gift on its own. So clients would add to it. A mug from one vendor, sweets from another, a box from a third, just to make it feel complete.
Somewhere along the way I noticed something I couldn't unsee: the gifts people remembered were never the biggest or the most expensive. They were the ones that made someone feel truly thought of.
I kept thinking a gift could do more. It could make someone feel remembered, not just received. It could turn an ordinary Tuesday into something they'd hold on to.
So we started Happy Banyan. Every box is curated slowly, and every single thing inside has a reason to be there. Nothing is added to fill space. I want opening it to feel like being seen.
And because a memory deserves to last, every lid carries a print of an original painting by Chetna, our chief artist — not our logo. Long after everything inside has been used and loved, the lid goes up on a wall. Every time you pass it, you remember who gave it to you, and how it made you feel.
Not many gifts. The right ones.
